Suburban – bowls

Every skater has a spot from their past that still resonates the stoke that got them into the sport to begin with… Not a planned skate park, but a spot they crafted themselves. An abandoned multi level carpark… A dry city drain or what the surrounding areas of their homes spark inspiration.

In a city as large as Los Angeles the canvas is pretty large, but I was fortunate enough one hot afternoon to be shown a little gem in the shade of Temescal Canyon deep amongst the McMansion streets of Pacific Palisades. Michael Brenner sharing and tearing up his childhood digs for me and my cameras. Shot on HP-5 35mm and Fujifilm XE-2
